Brain Story successfully conducted a two-day comprehensive training on “Integrating Mental Health into Support and Protection Services for Women and Children Survivors,” held at Summer Halls, with the generous support of UNDP and KOICA.

The training brought together frontline practitioners, case workers, and protection service providers to strengthen their capacity in recognizing, addressing, and responding to the mental health needs of women and children survivors of violence and abuse. Sessions focused on trauma-informed care, psychosocial support techniques, ethical case management, and building referral pathways that bridge mental health services with existing protection systems.

Participants engaged in interactive discussions, case studies, and practical exercises designed to enhance their skills in delivering compassionate, survivor-centered care.

We extend our sincere gratitude to UNDP and KOICA for their continued partnership and support in advancing mental health integration within protection services, a critical step toward building a more responsive and holistic support system for survivors.
